Pad Thai is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Pad Thai is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

Pad Thai is one of the world's most beloved noodle dishes. Along with Thai Green Curry and Red Curry, this is the dish by which every Thai restaurant is measured. This restaurant-quality Pad Thai recipe is surprisingly easy to make at home and customize with whatever noodles, proteins, veggies, and spice level you prefer. It starts with fresh ingredients including rice noodles, chicken, shrimp, tofu, cilantro, bean sprouts.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook pad thai using 12 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Pad Thai:
  1. Prepare 100 g tamarind paste
  2. Take 50 g fish sauce
  3. Take 50 g palm sugar
  4. Get 25 g thai soy sauce
  5. Prepare 50 g water
  6. Get 50 g rice stick noodles
  7. Get 1 egg
  8. Get 100 g protein (chicken, tofu, shrimp, other seafood)
  9. Prepare 50 g fresh or thai pickled carrot
  10. Get 75 g Bean sprouts
  11. Make ready Garlic chives
  12. Prepare Crushed peanuts

You may want to start with less pepper, and work your way up. Pad Thai is stir-fried rice noodle dish ubiquitous with Thai cuisine in the United States, but it wasn't With World War II nearing, the Thai government created the dish to promote a sense of national unity. Pad Thai is Thai stir-fried noodles with rice stick noodles, shrimp, chicken, fried tofu, eggs and Pad Thai sauce. The noodles are topped with crushed peanuts and served with fresh chives, lime wedges.

Steps to make Pad Thai:
  1. Sauce: Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Strain. Adjust sweetness, saltiness and texture with sugar, fish sauce and water. Makes sauce for 4-6 servings. Can be kept refrigerated at least a couple of weeks.
  2. Cut the chives to the same length as the bean sprouts.
  3. Heat a wok on high heat and add some peanut oil.
  4. Crack in the egg on one side of the pan, breaking the yolk.
  5. Add the protein on the side of the egg and stir fry while the egg cooks.
  6. Add the carrot and stir fry briefly, before breaking up the egg and stir frying everything in the pan together.
  7. Add the noodles, stir-fry briefly, then pour in the sauce and stir-fry until the sauce is evenly distributed and the noodles are cooked through adding some water if it becomes too dry.
  8. Add the bean sprouts, peanuts and chives and stir fry for a few moments.
  9. Serve with fresh coriander, crushed peanuts, chilli flakes, sugar, soy sauce and fish sauce on the side as condiments.

Pad Thai is Thai stir-fried noodles with rice stick noodles, shrimp, chicken, fried tofu, eggs and Pad Thai sauce. The noodles are topped with crushed peanuts and served with fresh chives, lime wedges. Pad Thai is probably one of the most popular Thai dishes abroad.
