Hey everyone, it’s me again, Dan, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, desi french toast. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Desi french toast is one of the most well liked of current trending foods in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Desi french toast is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

Take the egg, sugar and milk and mix it in a deep plate. On the stove heat the desi gheeor oil in a frying pan. While the oil is being heated dip the toast in the plate one by one and fry in the oil. The toast should be fully dipped in the egg mixture.

  1. Take 1 pav
  2. Take 3/4 cup milk
  3. Take 2 tsp sugar
  4. Make ready 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  5. Make ready 2 tsp oil/ ghee/ butter

French Toast Sticks Desi Style So as a part of my regular endeavour to make something new and delicious, I decided to make this lovely snack or even breakfast with a desi twist. Furthermore, I ended up creating a unique recipe of this legendary dish that is savoury, sweet, meaty, cheesy and cinnamony. Our recipe hasn't changed much for Bombay Toast, a savoury desi or Indian version of the French Toast, as it passed down generations in my family.

Steps to make Desi french toast:
  1. Mix together the milk, sugar and cinnamon powder.
  2. Cut the pav into 3 or 4 slices. Soak the pav in the milk till it soaks up all the milk.
  3. Heat oil/ghee/ butter in a non stick pan and shallow fry the pav till golden from both sides.

Furthermore, I ended up creating a unique recipe of this legendary dish that is savoury, sweet, meaty, cheesy and cinnamony. Our recipe hasn't changed much for Bombay Toast, a savoury desi or Indian version of the French Toast, as it passed down generations in my family. I added all of the spices as suggested and enjoyed the taste, although I would probably use less nutmeg next time. I used the rest of a loaf of french bread that we had bought the night before, so that made it extra tastey. I also followed another reviewer's suggestion and covered the pan with a lid so the middle.
