Combine the warm water, yeast and sugar in a small bowl. In the bowl of a mixer fitted. Mix on low speed to combine. Our focaccia has a moist but airy crumb sandwiched between thin but ultra-crunchy top and bottom crusts, thanks to a generous amount of olive oil in the pan and on top of the dough.

Basic focaccia dough requires only five ingredients, flour, water, olive oil, salt, and yeast. Focaccia is our favorite yeast-bread to make at home. It has a crisp outside and soft inside, and is perfect to serve with dinner, soups, stews, or even sliced in half and used for sandwiches. Thanks to the ingredients, it's also naturally vegan.

Instructions to make Whosayna’s Focaccia:
  1. …..mix dry ingredients with oil and butter then bind with warm water to softer dough and let it rise… - Grease 2-3 trays, punch back the dough and make 2-3 balls, roll each - and lay on the tray, finish rolling all press with thumb all over to get dents on the top of the dough leaving 1" space on between…. - Let the dough rise…. - brush with olive oil or beaten egg and sprinkle rosemary all over the dough then bake on 200°C till it's browned up…
  2. Toppings:….sprinkle the toppings and just before serving bake on 220°C for 5mins… - serve hot….
